Simon Westaway is an Actor and TV Presenter. He is well known from his most recent role that has won him critical acclaim for his performance in Underbelly as Mick Gatto. Simon has worked for over 30 years, and in that time has had many varied roles, & as you can see by his very impressive Biography – it shows why he is so in demand. Simon is one of Australia’s most talented actors, Simon Westaway has a wide and impressive list of film, television and theatre credits to his name.
He is one of the main Voice over artists for Channel Seven in Sydney, Australia, and you can hear his voice in many Adverts including Qantas, American Express, Aeroguard and Toyota Prius. Plus various roles he has played in Internationally acclaimed Movies.
The Cop plays the Cop and the bad guy
Simon first started his working career as a member of the Victorian Police Force 1977-1987. Simon has played many characters as the tough guy. After working the beat as a Police officer Simon saw the other part of life most of us have never seen. It made his role in his acting career so much more real to life.

He continues to surprise in every role he undertakes both here and overseas. To list just a few of his accomplishments you’d have to start with the highly successful Hart to Hart series, Halifax FP, Happy Feet, the Thin Red Line and Babe. In theatre, A street car named Desire and the Man from Snowy River.
